I'm Artemio Padilla Robles. I'm a Mexican young scientist passionate about technology design to sustainably improve quality of life for all.

Physics

I did my first bacherlors degree on physics. I always loved to apply physics, thats why I loved laboratories and took courses such as instrumentation, robotics, metal machining and observational astronomy. I did my thesis on a project that touched the fields of scientific instrumentation, quantum optics, chemistry and ultra-high vacuum.

Information Technology

I'm currently about to finish my second bacherlors degree on data science. I felt like I needed to study more on IT to complement my physics background and gain expertise this kind of technology. I took relevant courses such as machine learning, deep learning, big data, databases, data mining. I have taken several MIT courses on CS through MITOCW.

Leadership

I was a member of the debate team of the faculty of economy (UNAM) and took courses of debate and oratory at the debate club of the Law Faculty (UNAM). I have participated in a few United Nation Models and several formal debates. I'm the official elected representative of students of the data science at UNAM.

Personal Server

This very same website is one of my projects. I'm self hosting this website in a Raspberry Pi 4b. I'm using Docker to run all the necessary services. I'm using a custom CloudFlared container to manage the DNS.

Precision liquids dispenser

While trying to start a business I designed a precision liquids dispenser. This device used PID control to accurately serve the desired amound of a liquid. For this I used peristaltic bombs and two arduinos.
